**If anyone thought there was something funny about the way this post reads, specifically in the 'hips - les mis' section, I've fixed it. If you haven't, pretend I've said nothing here.**
Monday was fun. Charlie came over and we watched Watchmen. I tweeted during the entire film [sorry, followers >_<;;] because I was playing around with the whole mobile tweeting thing [unlimited texting wooo haha ><]. I also played a little oboe - so weird! Where one would finger an E on a clarinet or a bassoon, one finds a B on the oboe. The keys are in the same places, so it confuses me a little bit ^^;; But still fun. I can play an F major scale... After that, I was so tired! I thought I'd go to dance lessons, but I actually fell asleep! I couldn't even keep my eyes open v__v;; Mum finally came home from the pool at quarter to nine and woke me up, and I was surprised how long I'd slept. Since it was so late, my sister had already eaten, so Mum and I went out to Pane Vino. I love that restaurant, even though I don't eat much ><;; That was about it for my super-exciting day. I wanted to go to sleep at 2, but I tried to put photos up on Facebook, which, you probably know, takes wayyyy too long for me. Tagging creates massive lag and freeze :( So it took another hour to tag three whole photos -_- [not exaggerating]. Tuesday was better. I woke up at like 12:50 and freaked out. I showered super fast and grabbed just a glass of milk before running [driving] to dance lessons. Once again, I epic-failed in ballet class :( And I didn't learn any new steps during my lesson really, but that's okay! I still had a lot of fun, even though I did have to spend a whole lot of time working on my hips >_<
After that, I came home. I practised a lot of piano [sight-reading, mostly, and singing! Plus worked on "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables," which I am pretty good at by now, but can't seem to stop playing it...]. I need to find a song I can sing a capella for an audition, and now I think I've got a few lined up. I can sing Switchfoot's "Only Hope" in B flat and G major, and I can sing "Bring Him Home" from Les Misérables transposed up one key. Still searching though... After a few hours of that and Jeopardy! reruns and French toast, Mum and I went back to Arthur Murray to discuss moving forward with lessons. Then we went to Bed Bath & Beyond and bought some useless college stuff. Then we came home and ate ice cream [yay!] and watched Ni Hao Kai Lan and The Empire Strikes Back. That's all. I didn't get to see the meteorites [or whatever ending] in the evening. I was hoping it would clear up during the night so that I have been able to go out and sit on my front porch and watch. Instead, I spent the rest of the night watching and reading Hana Kimi [the Taiwanese drama and the Japanese manga, specifically], and blowing on my oboe reed. So amusing xD .
Well, I actually kept reading all night. I finished the manga. I read forty chapters that night alone, and watched one episode of the drama. These things, they're like drugs to me. I'm addicted. When I was clean from dramas, I felt great, mostly [though I did notice my Chinese grades slipping lol]. I feel great when I'm on them, too, but it's a different kind of 'great' and I'm always looking forward to the next episode. Lol, so bad. Any way, I finished the Hana Kimi manga and went to sleep at 7am. My mother and sister left around noon for NYC. They'd woken me up a little bit to remind me to walk the dogs, call Mum if I needed anything, etc. I didn't officially wake up until four =__= Even after that, I was still wiped [natural, I suppose]. I should have gone for a walk, jumped on the trampoline, even just danced and jumped around the house like a crazy person. But the rain and the sleeeeeepie made me curl up on the couch and channel surf. I tuned into USA to watch a House rerun, and ended up watching that and four episodes of NCIS, which I'd never seen before. If you follow me on Twitter, you probably got sort of annoyed at hearing about that lol. That night, I played Bioshock until 2am, and finaly went to sleep a little later.
Which brings me to today, finally lol. I was up at 11am and out and about by noon. I had a 3:15pm dance lesson, and I learned TWO new steps! One in Foxtrot [called a 'brush twinkle' lol] and one in Cha-cha [called a 'half moon']. I only have a few lessons left before I leave for college! so we're trying to get as many in as possible before that. I might go again on Saturday, who knows. Then there was an epic shopping adventure at Kohl's. I ended up with some really cute clothes! I get most of my girl clothes there because the men's section is so out-of-the-way. I got three shirts, and I wore one of them for a few hours tonight and decided it is one of the most comfortable, cutest girl shirts I own :] Also, two pairs of pants, and a bunch of crap for college, including a GIANT FRICKEN PILLOW. It's not that huge, but I like it any way lol. It's probably two feet across both ways. Very soft. We dined at TGI Friday's. I always feel so gross after I eat 'American.' Like, the greasiness of the food makes the body feel like crap inside and out. I'm not saying I felt sick or anything. Just saying, after I eat at places like that, though the food is delicious, I feel sluggish inside and greasey outside. I just washed my face and put up my hair a few minutes ago and I feel so much better. Ah, I also watched Current [that's a channel] all night. Originally, I wanted to catch InfoMania and Rotten Tomatoes and ended up watching it for a few hours [lol]. Oboe is going decently, by the way. But now, here I am, doing nothing. It's 2:30am, I haven't read manga, played Bioshock, watched drama, read... I don't actually know what I've been doing, so weird, I can't account for the wasted time. Heh. Well this is a rambley post, so I think I'll end it now, as I listen to Simon & Garfunkel's "Homeword Bound." Good night!

Teach me to Cha-cha! I saw it once and it looked fun. I wanna see your new "girly" shirt. ;) And I'll show you my new, fun socks. I love how you noticed your Chinese grades dropping when you weren't watching dramas. That gives you a perfect excuse to keep watching them, doesn't it? Are you going to continue to learn Mando in college? (reply on my FB wall) And lol @ Kai Lan. At least her Mando is decent.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure that was an oboe reed and not an oranGINA bottle? >=D
